POLL for possible Faultmate services in the NorthWest

Specifically for the L322 between 05-09 Years with the MOST system though possibly for 02-09MY.

Really this is just to gauge interest as im considering getting one with an SV licence and moving to MV to help others out.

There are lots of little bits that can be enabled as seen on the disco forums, if not more but i have yet to see more than 3 people on here who use one, and only 1 has an MV licence (thanks Ajay!)

Some bits i can se that would be likely that have been done on discos are,

Quote:

Sat-nav on the move
3 flash indicators
Clock displayed on the dash display
4x4 info enabled
Compressor software update
Follow me Home Lights
Full Voice Control
...

Obviously this would cover places like Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales....

Im not looking to earn a living off this BTW, I'm looking mainly to just cover my time so am thinking about £30-40 for enabling some bits is a decent price.

The list above is NOT perfect for the L322 of these era's and I will be trying to update the list but just trying to gauge interest if its worth me upgrading to a Multi Vehicle as the cost would be circa £1k for the upgrade if I did i would have to work on about 40 cars to break even!

At the moment just looking for rough feedback on the idea Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I think the problem is more to do with not knowing exactly what can be done with it and me being so new to it as well.

TBH its a very advanced bit of kit and cant wait to enable some fancy features myself Smile

The best one will be an FBH purge in the office car park on BioD Very Happy wonder how long the fir brigade will take to come lol!! Also an adjustment to the battery voltage cut out for the FBH as well and seeing if its able to fully lock the diffs on the fly which would be good for offroading and maybe also fully turning off the DSC/TCS so I can feel how much work it actually does Smile

I will also be seeing if I can turn the heated seats on via the HVAC when the timed/remote climate is heating the car, just at level 1 mind and the steering wheel at the same time just for a proper warm interior Smile

Like i said there are some obvious things like
Nav on the move,
Timed climate if not already activated,
Lazy Locking/Unlocking,
Alarm Beep using horn or speaker turned on or off,
Towing electrics setup if not already done so(this usually just disables rear PDC when hooked up)

One i want to try and change is the speed at which this age of vehicle lowers itself as the earlier ones are at a set speed of 50-60mph for so long im sure that later ones can be edited and moved to a lower speed and possibly a slightly lower height as well without losing comfort. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I doubt you will be able to turn the seats on as AFAIK they have to have weight on them to actually switch on, i left mine running for 10 mins seats on and nothing as soon as I sat on them bingo heat !!!! One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Mine must be missing that bit as when going to pick people up from airports and stuff I turn them to one and leave it there and they always say they are warm when they get in Smile
Also great for keeping a take away or fast food warm on the way home with some newspaper underneath Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Also don't forget the air cooled as heated seats that some 06-09 vehicles have should be ok with such tinkering though the battery may not like it as much!! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
