My last appointment was canceled by Landrover.

So off for the inspection at 9.30.I hope the car gets the all clear and they give me a good warranty.

Had the inspection this morning. Stratstone the robbing B charged me 60 quid for the privilege.
Anyway it was with them for 1.5 hours and they went through everything by the look of the report.
They told me that before they would give me a warranty i would have to have all faulty rectified at my expense, which is fair enough.

The report said that there was nothing wrong with the car with exception of a NR side track rod end.
So I've had this done and i'm now waiting for the call to say i'm covered.

The cost is £1225.00 this includes roadside assistance and home start.

It is expensive but if a turbo or gearbox goes then its worth every penny.

Not cheap but money well spent IMO.

They did give an advisory on the other track rod end at the last MOT so we got that done.

Seems odd that it has had both done at such a low mileage!

I was taking to my Independent servicing chap and he says that they are prone for going due to all the bloody pot holes we can't avoid.

Wasn't an expensive job to get sorted.

Glad you're still happy with the car We're happy that it's being looked after too.

To be honest we've given up at the moment. There's plenty for sale and we're in no rush to get one so just going to wait until the right one appears rather then just buying one.
