Well well well.

Apparently were all Bellends. The majority of them hate RR drivers only because they can't afford to buy one or run one.

2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

I liked this response on the next page :

The way I see it, cars are bought based on insecurity or confidence-

Insecurity (whether it be about not causing attention, reliability worries or running costs) leads people to buy safe options (diesel econoboxes etc...) - very very rarely does it lead to buying big, fairly extravagant cars like RR's...

Confidence leads to people buying what they want, sometimes flashy...they dont exactly care what others think and they have the confidence in their own abilities and situation to take the financial risks associated. I'd love a RR because its a bloody good car.

The issue is, insecure car owners get jealous/envious of confident ones so they reel in hate whenever they see a car generally only driven by a confident one (such as a rr). This is compounded when its the type of car they've never experienced (due to their buying habits), so they don't get it. Pretty understandable really.

Well I bought mine to feel secure and happy because with Censored on the road in Merca and volvos who don't know what day of the week it is never mind which way they are going and indicating when they feel like means when they drive into a flood that is going to be 2' deeper than their car can handle I can drive over the piece of cr4p to get to where I need to go which would most likely only be an urgent journey to a sick friend or relative who wanted a safe mode of transport to a hospital..

Another plonk did this a few years ago AGAIN in a merc c299 kompressor and killed it! His mrs and him walked from it and left it in the flood for the night. I went they the next day in my xantia and te thing had been dragged out and stripped. I thought that may teach them next time to assess and know a flood before trying it in a poo wagon.
