There's a rather elderly gentleman in Luzern with one of those that he insists on driving at 20kmph in case it falls over going round a corner. It's increadibly annoying if you're behind him because: - a) You're stuck behind him. b) It's a 'kin Lotus, you should make the most of every corner!
Not my thread, but I don't think it's a problem. |

Most fora work the same. Its easiest if you get yourself a (free) account with Photobucket, Flicker, or another of the many hosting services. Then upload the pics you want to share to them. They will provide a link that you just click on to get the necessary address of your pic and you insert that into your posts between the commands . So for example the bike I learnt to ride on was a KMX 125 like this (and I used the command img]https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnuts.uk/xpb/c6/c629f98c8c5e211235fb1bdfac2ca90c0b2a5d401201e76ab2ec3c0d3ca354e4.png[/img but started and finished with a square bracket to get the pic to display rather than the command. I then had a VFR750FL Then a VTR1000F Then the VTR1000FY SP1 that I've still got. Along the way I rode a VFR400 and GSXR600 on various days at the Mallory Park track school And finally a Ducati 748 on a Ducati Experience day at Cadwell Park. Sorry about the different sizes...just grabbed what I could find quickly from around the net. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mike - MPx 2017 5.0 V8 Supercharged SVAutobigraphy Dynamic SVO Palette Grey (2021-...) 2012 5.0 V8 Supercharged Autoboigraphy Orkney Grey (2017-2021) 2007 4.2 V8 Supercharged Vogue SE Tonga Green (2012-2017) 2002 4.4 V8 Vogue Bonnatti Grey (2008-2012) |

Funny, I used to have an ex police BMW K100RT. I bought it with 75k on the clock and did another 100k on it before something big went and I scrapped it. This is a long time ago. The Pan was a much better bike but I was broke at the time - couldn't afford one. |

I have a ST1100, had it for 8 years, but do not use it much, have been to France a few times with SWMBO but not recently, so she reckons it should be sold but although it doesn't get used very often, when it does it is difficult to explain the feeling you still get, and as I am now old codger my insurance is only £80 year fully comp and £77 RFT so I am keeping it and will have to put up with the pain. ( I posted a pic a couple of years ago but cannot remember how ) |

Most ST11 owners seem to hang on to them. Sign of a good bike. |

Had mine for 11 years - after 25 years of changing bikes every year or two! Sold it in Feb with 145,000 miles on it. Still makes me sad when I go into the garage and it's not there. |

^ In the garage, I have a broken running machine where my aprilia lived.. Not a good swap. Don't want another, but it did look prettier than a bust reebok. Previously..
