Let it fail to sell and see if we can get them cheaper as i could possibly pick them up if in cheshire and thus save us all a few bob each.

We just need the same with some BMW ones or at the least a batch of 10 internals... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Probably stupid question but IIRC there are 4 different keys, the 2 that come from factory are coded as 1 & 2, how will we know we wont end up with 2 x 1's or 2 x 2's - again IIRC you cant have 2 of the same 'ID' otherwise one kicks the other off.

As far as I'm aware you cannot reprogram a used key ...only a new one Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk

They come as used units so with internals but the idea for the earlier cars, 2002-2006 is that the internals get chucked anyway. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Are you referring to the RFID security chip inside? If so I think what a few people have done is remove (apparently unsolder) the existing chip and then either clone the chip in original key and place in new one or simply remove the loose chip from the existing key and place inside the new one.

But yes AFAIK the 2007 keys use a different system and cannot be used for pre-2007 (without replacing the internals) - mine is a 07MY but unfortunately with the old style key.

HI... I think you will find that in there present state they can not be reprogrammed,they will have to be cut open . you will also need new blanks,they can be hard to get some times.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
