Claiming Funds Back from a 'Removed' eBay Item

Bit of a sudden question. I bought (stupidly, in reflection) my wife's Christmas present on eBay. Yes, it was electronic. An iPad Mini.

Just had a message from them saying the listing has been removed. I paid via Paypal.

How do you use the Resolution Centre to make a claim? It's not immediately straightforward and I can't make sense if it.

The sum was 'a few hundred' pounds. Never ever had a problem before so this has really got to me.

Any help massively appreciated!! Si. <This is my name.

This is what you need to do.

Go to the item in your ebay account
Go to the right hand column and go to resolve a problem (follow the instructions)

Go to your pay-pal account
Click on the transaction for the pad and request a refund. if that doesn't work then open a case with pay-pal and they should refund you

Good luck Thumbs Up

Thanks!

Buying a new iPad off eBay was, in retrospect, pretty stupid. Embarassed Si. <This is my name.

What was it pulled for? I've bought a few things off the bay and they have pulled the advert after I have paid, telling me I don't need to pay etc. only for a few days later the item arriving that I had paid for. Obviously ebay going ott with there rules on listings. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I bought uggs before and they were removed from ebay cause the company were in trouble due to recent hurricane in US.

I got eBay message saying not to pay for items as i prob wont get them etc. But I already did pay and items still arrived.

Another time I paid for an item that I waited to receive for ages. As far as I'm aware u have to first try contact seller for a refund or resolve. If nothing happens, then u can set up a claim in resolution centre with PayPal not ebay. U should get refund without issue. thumbsup:

Well, unbelievably, it's just arrived.

No idea why eBay pulled it. I suppose they had a reason to, but I'm very relieved! Si. <This is my name.

It could have been as simple as he had several to sell, and when he'd sold them all he pulled the item so that no-one else bought one.

True. My first, cynical, thought was stolen goods.

Anyway, reassuring (?!) that others have experienced this. Si. <This is my name.

I had it with some watch parts - I think it's when they put an auction up with ten available (say) and sell a couple outside the bay, the only way to stop the system selling another two is to pull the item.
