£40K buys me.......

I would really like to get into FFRR ownership having had a top spec D4 which I traded for a BMW Touring Whistle

The BMW is a fine car but I miss the Disco and have always wanted the RR.

So my question is what could I get with a budget of around £40K.

I was able to test the new model (Vogue SE VCool yesterday and if I had £80K I'd have bought it on the spot Mr. Green 718 GT4

This one will see you right Don

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-LAND-ROVER-...416e51f2d1

Low enough miles, not too old and a decent spec and trim.

Alloys aren't to everyones liking but you could likely knock them down a little to help get some new wheels and a few £k in the budget will keep any mrs happy as well.

Yes its not a 4.4 but at least there is no timing blt and the 3.6 is a proven engine that can also be chipped with ease for more power. The gbox is great in it as well. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

TDV8 is a chain
TDV6 (a la SSRR and D4) is a pair of belts. 105K or 7 years interval.

pretty sure the 3.6 has a chain not a belt and the 4.4tdv8 also.

have tried to source a belt for it and it comes up a blank...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
