Why to buy with a good warranty

This thread is not a warning, or trumpet blowing just a personal observation.

I may be picky, just a little, and i love my car, but i am glad i bought it from a lr dealer with an approved used warranty.

BEACUSE

So far it has had the following repaired under that warranty.

1. Heater controls £600
2. Gearbox reseal £600
3. New passenger headlamp £650
4. New fuel burning heater £1350
5. Respray to rear arches

So £3200 in repairs i havent had to pay for.

I have had to pay £20 for a new non return valve on the rear wash wipe. Big Cry

many thanks to car plan who provide the LR approved used warranties for quick and hassle free repairs and to hunters derby for sorting most of them.

As it sits in the drive at present 8:20 pm sat 1dec, there is nothing broken. At all. Nada.

Gotta love it. Proved invaluable in the floods last week as well.

Famous last words but.......What could possibly go wrong (now)... Rolling Eyes

Engine, gearbox, altenator, diffs, radio........and on and on and on.....

But seriously my only worry really is the altenator, my mates tdv8 has had a new one at 60k, mine is now on 52k, whats the failure rate? i know they can be problematic, but are they all problematic......... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I drive my girls to their dancing class every Saturday at 0900Hrs and pray for a FFRR 'easy day' Can honestly say that today was free of hassle and I actually felt deserved of a FFRR....

I've got used to faults appearing every other week......suppose it keeps me out the pub and worrying about the 'fix'........Anyway, as i said, today was fault free Thumbs Up Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....
