Hi guys,

I have ran a search for this problem but cant find any help. So any pointer will be greatly appreciated.

The other day my battery went flat, just an old battery. no problem i replaced the battery and reset the steering, all seemed fine. Now driving in the dark i have noticed my cornering lights are not working.

I checked for faults, all the common ones for low voltage ect, reset fine, no current faults other than traffic system, Ariel circuit or some such. But still no cornering lights.

I have also tried the disconnect and reconnect the batt as per the wiki.

I have an iid tool but cant seem to find anything in the ccf relating to the cornering lights.

So i am out of ideas, any pointers will be very much appreciated.

After the battery disconnect and reconnect you need to start the car and move the wheel through it's full range. It helps to hold it at each extreme for a few seconds too. This helps the car calibrate it's wheel position sensors and this is probably linked to the cornering lights.

Thanks for the reply, but i did this as art of the batt reconnect. Alas to na avail.

Does any one know what the LCM needs for this function?

Im just thinking if all the LCM needs is info from steering position sensor than why is this such a common fault.

Finally, if this is the LCM can it be reflashed?
