2007 iPod Kit Factory on a 2006

I know it has been discussed before to death, I have search this any many forums but can not get a solid answer... my question is:

Will the factory iPod kit that only works with 2007 & up vehicles work on my 2006 if I sacrifice my CD Changer?

Is it safe to say the unit plugs to the back of the head unit then you hope you have enough cable to bring it out through the glove box?

Thanks,

A

Yeh it works I got one installed. I didn't have to sacrifice the CD player, there's a switch that I can select to listen to cd or iPod. The unit is under the touchscreen out of sight and the iPod cable and aux cable run to the glove box.

Anyone got a link to this kit? I was told no option to have iPhone in car by numerous car entertainment companies!
