Firstly i have a wedding to attend up in Fife at the start of January and was wondering if anyone up that neck of the woods could recommend a hotel for a 2 night stay

I know and you know Glenrothes is a hole , i wanted to drive up in the morning attend the wedding stay for a few hours for the reception afterwards , then high tail it back down the road before any serious ailments can spread ….

Nothing decent in the Dyce area... as 47p2 said, Marcliffe is a good choice but not exactly close to Dyce and not cheap for what you get. Ardoe House is in similar location, was good a few years back but recent reports not so good. Both are traditional rather than stylish but service is excellent
