Because I support local shops where possible and the price difference of £14 isn't an issue. I've got a 5 year warranty and if I have any issues he's only a short distance away to resolve. The Purchase price isn't everything.

I agree and also fully support local Indy's where possible as long as they are offering value for money and there may be others in your area that feel the same as you and I don't want you to think I was being critical of your very valid post. But this thread specifically relates to Euro Car Parts and the discount codes that people have successfully used so it just seemed an unusual statement.

Incidentally ECP are not just internet based, they have over 120 branches nationally and I understand that you can take any faulty item back to any branch and in the case of a battery they will honour the same 5 year guarantee if offered by the manufacturer.

I have no connection with ECP I am just a customer looking for good value and service and have found them to be very efficient on the handful of occasions I have used them.

^^^^ agree with Ajay, i have used ecp for a few bits recently and fpund them easy to use and you can reserve online and collect in store (which is 10 mins from me). Reserved some brakes the other day, didnt need them in the end when they called to let me know they were ready (9.00am mon morn) i just told them i didnt need them, no hassle, courtoeus lady on the phone said it wasnt a problem and they would just restock them.
