This must have woke a few drivers up............

This bridge is 11 foot 8 inches high. Apparently a lot of trucks don't believe the sign. About once a month someone tests it. By the way, there is a metal beam in FRONT of the bridge that the vehicles hit instead of the bridge. It helps protect the bridge itself. One of the photos shows that beam with a bend in it.

There's a hotel just north of Oban on the Isle of Eriska and to access the island you have to cross the Atlantic via a bridge. It is the scariest bridge I have ever crossed as every plank of timber is loose and rattles as you cross over, talk about a brown trouser moment
