Brunel Paint

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the Brunel paint colour that Land Rover stick on so many exterior parts like the door handles, grille surround etc? Discovery 4 HSE

Yes - Halfords!

They offer an in-store paint mixing service (approx. £12 per spray can) using computer sourced paint codes.

From memory I think it shows on their computer as Brunel Silver / Chrome / Matt in their Land Rover databank.

Needed some to touch up the side-steps trim on my pride and joy.

As with all paint projects its 90% preparation / 10% painting - especially metallic finishes - so a gentle even wet rub down with fine course paper/sanding sponge and then an even coat of plastic primer spray beforehand is ideal.

3 - 4 coats of paint (@1/2 hour intervals) and the result is near identical to the matt factory finish Very Happy

Great for touching up worn door handles, stone-chipped grilles and de-blinging replacement chrome lettering!
