There are a number of potential issues, have a good look around the forum for some more details. You could have a leaking bag, or pressure transducer, or system leak etc. etc. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Whilst talking about air suspension again, my compressor runs for about thirty seconds on start up after it has been sat still for a day or too. Should it? If there are no leaks or air escaping the system any where surley there is no need for it to run on start up. Do other peoples do this? |

I never hear the compressor but noticed that it had to pump up the front a bit after sitting still a while. By now I know that the front right airbag was leaking and the leak was getting worse. They removed over a week ago and it was full of cracks on the part that normally "folds in" so difficult to see while under the car.

I will pop it on my four post lift and get under neath it then. I can hear my pump because it has been moved for the lpg tank, so i know when the compressor is pumping. i just wondered if it was normal for it to pump on start up.
