Picking up my first FFRR on Sat, was wondering about some of our car parks in Hereford and the size of the range rover, if anyone here knows - will it fit the following parks?

Specifically:-

Tesco's underground curved exit (Not that I ever shop there but occasionally park there, pretty tight for a normal car, never noticed a FFRR parked there so I assume its too tight

Multi-storey in town, some tight corners there too

Maylords underground carpark - I assume there will be no issues here.

Also that little cut-through behind Halfords - the one where you go under the disused rail bridge (think they removed the ironworks from it now but the brickwork still remains) - Had to fold my mirrors in on my old Freelander so not sure a FF will fit.

If anyone does have first hand experience of these please post how you got on - holding up traffic while I manoeuvre back out of a tight spot is not something I'd like to be doing.

Have not tried those places specifically but I've tended to find with my FFRR that its the length if anything that causes issues. I had a VW Touareg before and the Range is only a little wider but seems longer and seems to poke out of car parking spaces quite often!

I've never found a car park I can't get into, but parking in a free space between two other cars can be tight (or impossible if they haven't parked correctly). However they are very square so that sort of helps to know where you can poke the nose if you see what I mean!

Depends what you are used to I guess, the FFRR is 2034mm exc mirrors wide, a BMW 5 series as a comparison is 1860. Lloyd Barnes

Thanks .... Think I may stick to Merton Meadow carpark ..... A little further to walk but atleast the spaces there are nice and big .... Although I know some scroat is going to ding it with a car door eventually.
