Full Fat Range Rover vs Sport

Now, for years me and my dad have been dreaming about a Range Rover! The time came and we bought a 2003 model! I put about 20k miles on it just by myself in very little time because I'm studying in France and see the car only on holidays, before my dad had an accident with it!

So now, It's time for a new one! He's not that interested in features and stuff, and doesn't particularly see the difference between the FF and the sport version!

Now, I like the sport, but there's something in the Full Fat that makes me feel different! It has that special feeling!

I've driven a RRS before, but only the TDV6 2.7 version while a had 4.4 liter BMW in the FFRR! A huge difference! Plus I don't particularly like diesel cars!

I'm considering a Supercharged version of both cars! If I'll found a 07 model with relatively cheaper price that the normal, I'd go for the FF in no time! But, it's been kinda difficult for me lately! I want a LHD vehicle, and the ones I've found are kinda expensive! That's why I'm also considering the Range Rover Sport!

So I've wanted to know what are your feelings about both models! I know RRUK had a RRS Supercharged before and wanted to know how he felt with it and how he feels with the FFRR he had and the one he has

Also if anyone of you who has had experience with both models can share some feelings 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

The RRS SC was good at the time, it suited what I wanted, a transition from a BMW M5 to a 4WD, however, since having the FFRR I have never wanted to go back to a Sport. Even if someone offered a me a brand new RRS SC 2010my in place of my 2008MY Vogue SE, I'd say no.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

I had one of the first RRS back in early 2005 it was a Black HSE and at the time I thought it very nice if a little less roomy inside than I had been expecting.

I then moved on to a D3 Metropolis for a few years before getting my first FFRR in 2009. I have now had three and have settled with a very nice TDV8 Vogue.

Having had experience of all three models I can confirm that as long as I can afford it I will ALWAYS choose a FFRR first and it will also always be a TDV8 (hopefully the new version next). Thumbs Up

If I had the opportunity to but a Second Land Rover it would definately be the Discovery4 3.0 TDV6 HSE. Thumbs Up

However I will never buy another RRS.............. Big Cry

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

When I bought my FF nearly five years ago the choice was a new D3, new sport or second hand FF.

I found both the D3 and sport very cramped for the driver and my OH found the D3 very uncomfortable compared to our P38.

So second hand FF, never regretted it.

2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Java Black

I`ve owned my vogue se for approx 2mths now and when I was looking to buy `a 4x4` me and the mrs tried Q7`s, X5`s, RRS`s and FF`s.

Even though the FF was the slowest and thirstiest,it was by far the best.

We settled for a 55 plate SE facelift.

I was still finding features on it 3 weeks after ownership!

It`s that good I can`t wait to sell it!.....

That's what I keep telling myself! The Sport is not a proper Range Rover! If I don't end up getting the FF... (which I will probably get) I might aswell get another SUV and not the RRS 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior
