WTD Piano Black or Carbon Fibre Heated Steering Wheel

Toying with the idea of a piano black or carbon fibre heated wheel for my 05/06.

Anyone got anything? Had one sourced recently at a good price, but unfortunately not heated.

M.

What, the heater? I wasn't too sure how worthwhile it would be.....I've only had the car a couple of weeks.

I have a source for a non heated one for £195..... I couldn't really justify that price difference for a heated element, especially not knowing if I would really use it or not.

I've redone my interior to piano black and carbon fibre......the wheel would really set it off as mines a bit worn looking.

Macros I love mine I use my a lot during winter but I am in the alps a lot & it does get a little nippy, I used It last week after getting wet & cold it made me warm up real quick & makes the drive so much nicer especially with the heated seat on. Cool

Mick is not a fan but hey each to his own Thumbs Up Mutt

Got to admit I like the heated seats, which was why I didn't want to loose the heated wheel just yet (until
I've used it for the first winter)

I could see me switching the car on and heating the seats and the wheel before I leave in the morning!

When I first got my FFRR I was using just about every extra all the time. We had front and rear heated seats on, videos playing in the back, steering wheel heated, it was great..... Until I tried to start I one morning! Click, click, click... Took a day to charge the Censored back up again. So, be careful if you are only doing short journeys. I now switch the seats off as soon as I feel warmth, as they stay hot for a while. Thumbs Up Previously..

I love my heated 'wheel. I kind if have an unwritten rule that if the outside temperature drops below 10'C, the heated seat goes on.

The 'wheel needs a far lower ambient, but is so worth it, in my opinion.
