Self employed and would loose customers when on jury duty, if I lost customers I would not be able to pay my mortgage or HP payments or utility bills which would mean that the finance companies etc. would be after me for money that I wouldn't have and so they would take me to court to be prosecuted for not paying my bills... so where was the justice in that just so you can have me on jury duty to lock some smack head up. I now have a letter stating I will not be called up until 2032 which by then I will be collecting my pension


My mate's brother who stays in Aberdeen said he was a racist and that was enough to get him off jury duty

That's the one I used as well. I actually told them I was an active member of the BNP. That was in 2002. Never heard a thing since.

Not that I am a racist you understand, although I do really hate workshy dole scroungers, regardless of skin colour. That must make me some kind of "ist" under EU law.
