United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Java Black
Continental cross contact or General Grabber AT2

Hi,

I am considering new tyres for my fullfatrr and have options of either the Conti's or the Grabbers. Will be on 19 inch wheels and pretty much all Tarmac use. Any suggestions which are the better tyre and which will give more mileage before ending a change? I've heard the Conti's feather along the edge quite quickly (current michelins have done the same too).

Many thanks! African Bush Junkie ... in London!

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Hi there
Not really compatible , the Continentals are not loved at all because of the side tread ware issues and the AT2 hasn't been around for a couple of years but its replacement the AT is as it says an all train tyre and the Continental is a road biased tyre that said I ran Grabber AT's last winter and they seamed very good for an AT just a bit more noise and would brake away and slide on greasy surfaces a bit sooner but good in heavy rain and mush \ slush . 2008 MY Supercharged

The General AT is the most popular choice in 19" at present.

We have maybe the largest choice of 4x4 16", 17", 18", 19" and 20" tyres in stock in the SE, happy to talk you through the good and bad points of any make of tyre. Thumbs Up Andy....

Hi
I have a set of AT2's that are used in the winter, they are really quiet. My Business partner runs them on his Disco 4 and never takes them of. I might be selling mine next week with FFRR wheels if your interested.
They are on 19's
