After eighteen months, I'm trying for the first time to remove what the brochure describes as "Cargo Barrier Half Height (easily removed!)", which the dealer fitted when new.

The handbook shows a version which is different from the 2011MY so is of no help at all.

It's kept in place by two seat belt straps - one each side, held in place by a clasp on each belt. It's that I need to release, but how? The plastic clasp has a direction arrow on it pointing to a slot - I've tried putting things into the slot which does move the metal inside but still the belt doesn't release.

Help please!

Squeeze the plastic part of the buckle while holding the metal part which is pinching the strap in place. Once you squeeze together the buckle will move up the strap loosening the strap and allowing you to remove from the cargo hooks.

Thanks CMJ - eventually got round to trying this yesterday and it worked. Simple when you know how.
