New RRS based on FFRR

So say's Autocar. Same chassis and interior. Compared to the current RRS that is Disco based, this could make the new, no doubt, lower cost RRS a more interesting proposition?

I think the most significant change to the current RRS is that rather than being 2/3rds Disco the new RRS will be 2/3rds FFRR, which I expect will change it's character somewhat from the current model. Also, according to Autocar they are reintroducing the TDV8 to the RRS. Only a test drive will tell. MY23 D350 HSE

Having come from an RRS to a RR they are both excellent but very different vehicles.

LR won't produce something that is a cheaper scaled down version it will have its own distinct manner.

The sport, I would venture, will maintain the road bias it has. The 5.0 SC defies the laws of physics. Watch the comparison video between the 4.2 and the 5.0 or the Nurburgring lap to see what I mean.

The RR will also maintain its position of simply the world's most resplendent way to traverse a continent be it via pavement, track, or river...!

Which is the best...?

The RRS is superb but the RR is just exquisite...

Allan, you are correct that the current RRS is very different to the FFRR. I tried a RRS before buying my first FFRR and I am now on my third FFRR. However, the main reason the current models of the RRS and FFRR are so different is because they are based on different floor plans and structures. This will not be the case going forward according to AutoCar, so their driving experience could be much closer in future. Although I doubt the interior will provide a similar experience even if just for reasons of space and seating. MY23 D350 HSE
