United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

I have started to study the 'form' in RR prices before taking the plunge.
During my studies I noted a car on the LR website with the reg BV07*** - this was a car I had seen advertised privately on AT. I assumed the seller was trying to sell before trading the car in with a dealer.
I phoned him up and the car had gone but it gave me an interesting insight to the margins the dealers are working on. He said she was just out of warranty, needed 4 tyres and an MOT. He was advertising for £37,000 but someone came claiming to represent a client and offered £35,000 so he accepted.
The car is now on the LR website for a tad under £39,000!
I doubt it cost a dealer £1000 to apply a warranty (would not doubt if LR offer that for free to encourage buying through the network), the 120point check will not cost much, 4 tyres...£800 trade?, MOT/valet - cheap enough. Supaguard - £400 but I know the kit costs them about £25 and whatever time it takes to apply so good return on that if someone is daft enough to pay for it.
So assuming they can turn the car around for no more than £1500, that is quite a margin to work with.
Seems there are deals out there...
Kind regards,
Ed

£35k with old tyres and no MOT! What was the mileage.

I have an immaculate 2007(56) Vogue TDV8 with 43000mls in Buckingham with Parchment/Piano and New 2010 STYLE8 Alloys, New Vredestein Wintrac Tyres, New Steel Side Steps/Bars, OEM Mirror Covers and full OEM Mudflaps.

What do you think she is worth on AT?

Dealer called me today to see how I was getting on selling the RRSport, I told him its in AT and on Pistonheads - not one call off either - also on RRS forum.

He said - its too cheap Confused and I should up the price, he reckons people are suspect of the lower priced cars - they're thinking theres something got to be wrong with them.

I hope I can sell it in the next week or so.

Where's that from Gaz?

PM me please

With that kind of discount might be worth upgrading mine, as carn't justify a 2010 FFRR at the mo, as it would be same engine Sad

Not wrong about the 2010's

Priced a D4 up with all the extras I want for £54k, but not a lot of leg room in the back, but might have another look, but was thinking of updating my Disco 2, but then again might wait until a few more D4's are sold and get a cheap D3.

Who knows?
