There's some great footage of this car blatting across Africa in 1969 in a video available from the Gaydon museum. This car was unusual from the other VELAR's (of which there were around fifty produced) as virtually everything was hand made ! The others were "pre production" using production manufacturing techniques.
So, it's a bit special . . . .

If my numbers came up, I'd bite his hand off up to the shoulder -

GH has had those two in their stock for over a year now. They also had an HRH (Charles I believe) owned car that sold for similar money....
There's plenty of chat about those two elsewhere on here... Regards

I looked at the green 2 door that is still on their homepage. It was up for £7995 and not buying it then is still up there in my list of big mistakes in life......... Regards
