They just stick on with 3m tape Scotty i bought mine from Shields years ago and stuck them on, only reason i put them on was because of the that bang your door in car parks .............

Right, I've made a decision and have just ordered a set of the plastic handle covers and some genuine Bonatti Grey spray paint and lacquer. Decided this would be easier than spraying the originals on the car - wasn't totally sure how I'd get to the back of the handles.
