New to FFRR- Phone/Bluetooth questions.

Hello,
Just bought a 2004 4.4v8 vogue. I am new to the FFRR forum. A couple of questions, does it have a built in telephone? I have seen the little telephone button on the sat nav screen? if it does how does it work? Also can I connect to the RR with bluetooth or do i have to make some modifications?

Also
When I start the RR after about twenty seconds it bleeps once very loud, this sounds like a telephone or bluetooth bleep! Any ideas.

thank you oli

yor car has to have the phone kit to work, do you have any signs of the phone cradle in your centre consol, the phone unit will be in the boot on the lefthand side,if you push and hold the telephone button on the wheel do you get a beep after a few seconds Question

the beeps you get after starting sounds like the confirmation beeps of a tracker.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Bluetooth was never fitted to the early Range Rover as standard. If you don't have a phone in the centre cubby box, you will have to go the BMW ULF route if you want to keep it "standard" and use the buttons on the steering wheel etc........

Plenty of threads on the forum, do a search for BMW ULf or BMW Bluetooth........

Have a look for intravee on the site...

Available for sale at http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/Range_Rover.html

I think your beep on startup maybe an aftermarket bluetooth kit? Have you tried searching for devices with your phone whilst your car is running?

You can update Bluetooth module to allow Bluetooth streaming?

Is this true? I thought it just allowed phone book to sync and it work with iPhone.

So how is this done? Is tuner in head unit or in boot? Cost?

Hi mate

The tuner is in the boot with all the other gubbins....

A member called baris can do the mod. He can also offer digital tv and an upgrade to the sound quality, each with their own cost.

If you search for bm54 amp upgrade you should find more info.

You can then make a choice as to your preferred route...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
