I had big problems with aquaplaning in mine even at relatively slow speeds the RR would get pulled all over the place if it hit standing water. I checked the tyres (19" Pirelli Scorpions) and noticed that the inside edges were wearing quickly, so I had the four wheel alignment checked and new Pirellis fitted to the front and that made it a lot better. I have since changed to Continental on 20's and have no problems at all..........famous last words! |

Got the Wintracs on mine and they have been excellent so far in heavy rain. Haven't driven an FFRR without them so can't comment completely accurately, but they don't seem to produce undue road noise. Probably car would be a hint quieter without them but its almighty quiet even with them. When they are worn out I'll be replacing them with the same.

I've got 18" Grabber AT's on mine & it aquaplanes at ridiculously low speeds, you end up with your sphincter going like a rabbits nose when you hit standing water. On the other hand, they are excellent in snow or muddy conditions. The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
