South Africa 2016 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Baltic Blue
which diagnostic tool

i'm planning to buy a diagnostic tool for my 2 vehicles; 1 being a disco3 v8 and the other range rover l322 v8.

what will be most cost-effective tool to buy without sacrificing too much of functionality.

if i go with the IIDtool i will have to buy 2 as there are different models for the D3 and the FFRR.

is it possible to buy 1 faultmate for both vehicles with just getting it unlocked for the 2nd vehicle?

how much difference is there in functionality between the faultmate fcr and the IIDtool?

is it better to buy the iidtool for the ffrr and the fcr for the d3?

what would you do if you were in my position? Question

If you have 2 LR models then Hawkeye is the only economic choice. Thumbs Up

I have both a D3 & FFRR and use it on both cars. It can do most things but cannot alter the CCF if that matters to you.

Just my two penneth, I am sure the Faultmate/IIDTool brigade will shoot me down Wink Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

There is much more than CCF editing that you can not do - but if the Hawkeye fulfills your needs then that is all that matters. Nobody should shoot you down for that.

I responded to vnitos email request a couple of hours ago - which is why he knows that he needs two separate IIDTools. And in the mail, I suggested that if he did not need the additional functionality a Hawkeye might be an alternative.
