Insurance renewal time

Hate this time of year, frigging insurance scam-merchants. A licence to print money and commit legitimate daylight robbery. I F Censored HATE THEM. Evil or Very Mad

Anyway,

esure last year was £515

Renewal quote was £420

Went through Comparethemarket and got it down to £365 Shocked WITH ESURE! WTF are they playing at?

I rang NFU Mutual as I've seen people say they get competitive quotes and they wanted £900+ Rolling with laughter

I am never loyal to any insurance company and go where its cheapest, esure are just lucky they are the cheapest right now. Discovery 4 HSE

Don't know if it applies here, but some years back I was with More Than whose renewal quote, although slightly lower than the previous year, was around £100 (if I remember correctly) more than (pun not intended) a brand new quote from them.

The reason, they said, was that although my NCB was protected, if I went with the 'new' policy and then had an accident, my premium would,, as a result, increase. If I just renewed though, the premium was guaranteed not to increase due to any claims made.

Check your Ts&Cs. 2012 FFRR Westminster Orkney / Ivory and absolutely no pimp-glass!
