Was at Solihull on the driver experience yesterday lots of L405's about. They parked one next to my FF it looks sleeker and lower with a more raked windscreen when seen side by side its defo a Range rover.
Not so keen on the inside lots of light grey/blue leather and plastic. Highly polished wood detailing that looks like early far eastern attempt at wood finishing IMHO.
Instruments are a screen like the current model rear seat only looks comfy for two, middle seat looks very narrow and flat and is deleted on some models. looks almost minimalist.
When you open the tailgate water runs off onto your head or onto the lower tailgate carpet if open so nothing changes and its powered.
The instructor on the experience voiced concerned about the rim sizes and suitable tyres for even mild off road but it raises higher in off road mode but sits lower for access
They are making 1100 vehicles a day 800 are sports and discos thats one every 80 seconds!! Mine was a blue one!

On the press launch they only 'off roaded' them on the terrain park not the off road routes and the experience instructors have only had one a couple of days to play with before it was taken away hum Mine was a blue one!
