What's your favourite saying?

I went to see a guy today who hadn't done a task for me that he had promised to do. When I asked him why he hadn't done it he was quite honest and said "it wasn't the closest crocodile to the canoe last week"
That made me chuckle, any of you out there got any good sayings?

Working as an engineer I'm constantly asked to work miracles with Censored machines, its honestly like scrapheap challenge where I work - upon getting it running somewhere near, usually by modifying something to do something it wasn't intended to do my usual disclaimer is

"You can only p1$$ with the c0ck you got."
