United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Epsom Green
Display Issue

Hi All

Oh dear, here we go again......

This week my display has decided to loose colour or become less colourful? Sorry my description is pants but it's a weird one to describe - in the morning all good then after a few miles the display goes all washed out like it's got a filter over the screen - its still in colour but as if it's been filtered with a yellowish tinge??

Honestly - every three weeks something goes wrong with my FFRR - just had a new starter motor - £650 as no one makes a pattern one....................one more major expense and she's going.

Cheers

Pete Crying or Very sad

Any ideas anyone? FFRR Vogue 2003 4.4V8 - Epsom Green & Ivory

Parts Direct has a reman starter for ~350. But surprising that nobody lists the V8 starter new. The X5 starter is listed on ebay new for 160. Can't imagine it is any different....

On your nav screen: either the driver board is going bad or you have a contact problem. Try pushing the frame /screen around the edges and see if the colors change. I'd check ebay. The monitors do come up sometimes for not too much.

Thanks for your reply Steve

I was a bit stuck with the starter problem - was recovered to my dealer so although they would fit a pattern part for me I ran out of time as needed to get back to work etc!

I'll keep an eye out on ebay as you suggest but am amazed there is a problem with this - seems the whole car is made of sub standard parts and work manship...... FFRR Vogue 2003 4.4V8 - Epsom Green & Ivory
