Help needed understanding fault codes.

Had posted earlier re a misfire that was happening on most journeys at low speeds, once speed came up it wasn't as noticeable, and when car was switched of it seemed to reset itself. Slightly lumpy tick over in morning for a few seconds then drove fine for a short while then miss started. Have ran it for the last couple of days on shell v power, with forte diesel conditioner in tank, maybe a slight difference but I think it is wishful thinking on my part.
So took it today to a guy with launch x431, plugged it in and no codes ,but it said 3 faults ,smooth running regulator, glow plug device or relay, and fuel rail plausibility. Hadn't came across anything like this before, so had them cleared.
Took car for run, after about 10 miles it started missing again.switched of and it was fine. Drove back to guys house another 10 miles started missing just as I was getting to his bit, then cleared as I pulled into his drive. Put it on snap on ethos this time and is showing code P1613 engine stability controller. Can anyone shed any light on this, is it the low press pump or is it an injector problem
Thanks in advance

I take it you have a Td6 ?

If so, I understand a few people with Td4 Freelanders have had similar issues - not sure if their findings may help you.

Stick P1613 into Google and see if you get any Freelander issues come up.

I know a couple of people who had this on the FL's and it was always injectors or fuel pumps.

Is it kicking any smoke out ?

Have you checked the crankcase breather ? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Yes meant to say td6 2004 model, no smoke whatever, sometimes it will go for 10 miles with no problem, other times 1 mile.
Does crankcase breather cause these symptons

don't think it causes them directly, but does cause smoke and allow oil to go where it shouldn't if blocked....... may cause you a red herring if you did have smoke........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Going to get a leak off test done tomorrow to see if it shows up any problems, don't really want to pay 25 per injector for testing them

United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Oslo Blue

had some leak off issues with 2 of my injectors earlier in the year, didn't cause misfires but did cause really difficult starting especially when hot.

I just took the leak off's out and stuck some lengths of 6mm plastic tubing in instead. gave it a crank and the fault was soon apparent on number 1 and number 6

cost me 2 new injectors mind but no more trouble Thumbs Up

I had a missfire on mine, also judder when creeping forward with foot on the brake. I also came up with the fault "engine stability controller" turned out to be 2 faulty injectors ... replaced them, and it's been perfect ever since Thumbs Up

Did you get a leak test done to work out which ones , or did you take them all out for checking

I took them all out to be tested, two were found to be faulty.
