2018 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black
2013MY Freelander 2 - are LR having a laugh?!

A fully spec FL2 'HSE Lux' comes out as, wait for it:

TOTAL PRICE: £43,235

Is that a joke? Who in their right mind would pay that for a Freelander?

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

There are many automotive things that I'd buy for £43,000.

Concours late 60's 'Charger or early 70's Mustang. Custom-built V8 Defender. Even a RR if a decent 5.0 S/C was available. Another AMG Merc. Hymer motorhome. Ford F-250. Ford Falcon GTHO.

But definitely NOT a Freelander!! Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Almost as bad as 105k for a FFRR, right?

Just further proves that LR are aiming squarely at Chinese and Russian markets nowadays, not their past customers. Follow the money games.

Even worse when you consider my first house cost a quarter of that. Shocked
EDIT - the gaylander price, not the FFRR Wink

^^^^ As said - with 90% of LR's being exported existing customers don't matter anymore Rolling Eyes

I have been with the JLR brand for 12 years (longer than any brand before) but unlikely to buy new ever again - will keep current RRS until 5 years old (with warranty) then decide if I can afford another JLR or not Sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
