I bought a new GTR this year, depreciation is high but will be about half that of a new FFRR. They are great fun and silly fast Wink What could be a better mix than a FFRR and a GTR? Want some pics?

Make sure you try it during the test drive in R mode - it becomes a beast Twisted Evil

PS The trackpack is reasonably accepted as waste of £10k - there are many better mods you can make to the standard GTR for £10k Wink MY23 D350 HSE

Nice GT-R.
I have an 11 model.
Bought it a year (and a day) old for £57k with 3700 miles on the clock against a new price in 2011 of £72k. Very happy with it.
Quick Litchfield remap and exhaust (£2k) and it's making 600bhp... F me it's quick!

Sorry for the continued thread hijack. Embarassed

Track Pack is a gimmick for posers. You can make the car better for less than 20% of the cost.
How to make a great car less practical but no more powerful. WTF?

Fox, mine is an 11 too. Bought one of the last one's at a substantial discount on the new price just before the 12's arrived. It included the 3-year servicing for £499 so I can't go down the Litchfield route until it's out of warranty. Still silly quick though Wink MY23 D350 HSE

Yes, I've got the balance of the 3 year service deal too (included in the price Cool ) as it can be kept with the car for one change of owner.
So it's got to go back to a main dealer.

Hasn't stop me upping the power though.
Most dealers are only too happy to have the work, so a minor tweak doesn't seem to bother them.

Life is too short to put off 600bhp for two or three years when the thing is capable of doing it easily. Thumbs Up

My last car was a 2010 stage 4 (bigger injectors, air intakes, exhaust and remap) with 620bhp and my Nissan HPC still serviced it. Laughing

GTR looks gorgeous!

L405, not even as a gift. This L322 is possibly my last LR product, the L405 IMO looks like it's trying too hard.

Sorry for taking it off topic...

To get things back on track I just got corrected (incorrectly) on a certian Nissan forum by someone who works at Range-Rover.
If people there don't know that Land Rover or JLR is building the new Range Rover (which I did point out doesn't have a hyphen) then I'm definately waiting for a year before buying one. Give it chance to fall apart first... ;)

Saw a white one today, all white inc. those ugly door/side strips. Very plain, hardly noticed it. Don't choose white.... Wink MY23 D350 HSE

Have second one coming at my dealer, ordered 18 months ago. The factory order system opens in a couple of weeks, early 2013 delivery. Most dealers sold out, as a huge volume will head for China and UAE.

Those who have driven it, and journalists , are sworn to secrecy. But the only public comment I would make is that they all say it is a huge step forward. Look at it as a cheap Bentley.
