Au$10 (£6) a pint in Karratha, NW Australia when I was working there a year or so ago.

Not much of a beer drinker, but a pint of Fat Yak is (was) rather lovely.

Its got to be Norway. 40cl is circa £10, so about 14 quid a pint  2011 Vogue SE

10 NLG for a 33 cl bottle (in 1990 that was about 3.69 GBP, 12.45 GBP inflation corrected to today) bearing in mind my nett salary at the time was about 2100 NLG per month. Ordering 0.5 l. of wine at dinner would double the cost of dinner (appetizer, main course and dessert). Needless to say I didn't get drunk as the expense account didn't cover alcohol.

Buying a girl a drink was however a guaranteed way to have a great evening , I only found out after I bought her the beer (luckily she was very nice) but at the end of the trip (otherwise I would have head a great few weeks there !!!). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
