United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
Comments, Thoughts and Feedback Needed Please

I now have the right wheels that all match and have been offered a set of tyres to go on them.

This is for my 2004/54 plate FFRR

What are your thoughts about running 295/30/22 on my Supersports ? advisable or plain daft ?

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

They will scrub for certain and the ride cant be that great, likely to create cracks and so on, though i guess thats a common issue with loads of 22"+ rims as there is a lot of weight to support and also less rubber to absorb it...

If it were me i'd just sell them and downsize to 20" rims as they will still look great and you'll notice the comfort level increase massively...

Genuine ones will go for a song as well so will easily get you a great set of new rims with tyres on the bay and leave you change Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Whoops, I keep making that mistake, they are supersport replicas, not genuine.

The thing is i love the 22's , do you think it will be that bad ? I guess it will be rough on 30mm of rubber !

Tyre hieght is reduced by 51mm... Thats going to be rough compared to the ride on my 19's for example and worse than the 18's.

I couldnt take the ride in 20's to be honest and the tyres were poop for anything but normal road driving..

Its upto you fella. your welcome for a ride in mine to see how comfy you think it is in comparison.

The pups would thank you for it mind Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Ha ha

They can live with it ! swanning around in a range !

I more concerned about cracking an alloy or having a horrendous winter vehicle !

I had 2 sets of 22's - both cracked all 4 wheels, downsized to S/C 20's and they look great and ride great.

. . . . . I don't get it ?

One of the big advantages / plus points / design elements of any Range Rover is . . . . .

RIDE COMFORT Rolling Eyes

Why would you want to ruin that ?

But, hey, each to thier own . . .

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
