United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Autobiography 2.0 PHEV Corris Grey

Latest news...there is literally one spare "instrument pack" in the world and it has been shipped in to Lookers this morning from abroad.

Retail price of the display is £1,050 + Vat + fitting, so at least a couple of grand I guess.

Car booked in for the job to be done on Friday...

All sorted.

New instrument pack sorted under warranty by Lookers and so after three weeks of absolutely no display i now have the re-assuring view of a sunset. Also had nearly half a tank full to boot, so that was a surprise having guessed it would be near empty.

this is the trouble with high tech displays, once it goes then you're pretty much blind.. ... - .- -.

Glad it is all sorted! Good God, talking Maestros and Montegos! And the Renault 25. And Audi. I remember as a young un reading an article about someone who test drove an MG Montego Turbo, you know, the car Rover saw fit to drop a monumental engine in without making ANY alterations to the steering and suspension! So often issue with turning at speed and getting direction and power. Anyway this journo flipped the car and as he came to with the car still spinning on the roof, it chripped up to advise him the oil pressure was low!!! I think he thought that was not his most pressing issues! TMT Too much Technology ... At least Rover and Land Rover were never linked or anything......oh....wait...... Very Happy

It seemed that things were too simple to be true... Noticed that the one of the trim panels next to the dashboard (above the passenger ventilation grille) has been damaged while the work was being done.

Hopefully I will eventually get to speak to Lookers Park Royal and it can be sorted, but this seems more time-consuming than dealing with the original problem when everyone was keen to help.
