United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

I was looking at both, IMHO my budget was tight and I couldn't see the reason of spending the extra thousands of pounds to get the SC version

Yes it's a great car but not worth the extra I thought.

It really does depend on your budget, if you can easily go to 17k plus then do it, but they are FFRR so they will go wrong, I decided to spend a little less and have some money left over.

I have a 2005 54 plate 4.4 . It does about 19 on the motorway and 10 around town. It pulls like a train and sounds great. It hasn't even had a remap yet ? As you say if the decision is not about power and you don't have endless money the 4.4 is a great great car.

PM me if you want any further details about the 4.4 , we have got to know each other very well over the past few weeks with wheels, tyres, coolant issue, brakes, power steering etc, so I have found out quite a lot about them. Most of it from the search function on the website which has saved me thousands by being able to diagnose the problems and solutions myself.

There are some very knowledgable members on here Thumbs Up

Thanks for that.. very honest opinion. The car does not have to be "fast" as ill drive like miss daisy in it any way i think but it needs to pull well enough for me to not get frustrated driving it. Im thinking the ecconomy of the sc car might end up making me resent driving it. If i get on well with the 4.4 i may look to gas convert or trade in for a newer model down the line. I dont fancy being 20k deep into a car that i may not like driving and has horendous fuel ecconomy.

Thanks again for the opinions guys.
