picked up an m5 last week.

Hi,

Anyone else got an m5 on here? Picked mine up last week, got bored with the range rover.

Here's a few pics. For those who don't know, its a 5 litre v10, producing 500hp and it sounds fantastic!!

Cheers,

Paul.

What are the chances of that Smile

What do you think of it? Sounds fantastic when you open it up and a bit like a diesel when you start it from cold Alllan.

Paul.

I nearly bought on instead of the FFRR, but decided against it as I wanted something a bit more useful in snow Smile

Well have always been a bit of a "BMW man", probably why I like my 2003 Td6 so much.

I had this for 2 years.....

and then this for 6 years......which was featured in a few magazines....one of only 139 ever made (of which 50 were Limited Editions)

and the car next to the end on the right was the one that Richard Hammond drove on Top Gear.

Bit of a rare sight, all together.....

Absolutely cracking cars. My mate had an E39 M5 for 2 years just after I had to sell my E34.

That was much more civilised, but not as raw and as much fun in my opinion.

Excellent none the less.

Never been in the V10. I understand thats just way quicker.....

Hope you enjoy it.

Mark

I've driven a V10 M6 in snow before and I think my trip to the alps in a few months time would be rather scary in a M5 Wink

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I just wish I had enough dough lying around to have a M5 as a toy, next to the FFRR. Something to play with on a Sunday, preferably with a circuit along the route somewhere. First warm up on a spirited drive on some twisty roads and then a bit of tyre smoking on the circuit before going home with a face splitting grin Very Happy

Absolute gem of a car Gary, too early for me (would be an option if and when we move to NZ Razz).

And in this disguise as a soccer mom vehicle it will scare the living daylights out of the boyracers, HSV and FPV boys/girls. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
