Gear box repaired

Hi every one, just got car back after the gear box packed in. New forward clutch,drive plate,piston, torque converter. Warenty would only pay for torque converter so in end cost me £1489 including new battery which i dont think there was anything wrong with it after all it was off the road for 3 weeks so was bound to be flat. I got the old battery back and have it on charge and will get it checked ,if ok will sell it on. Any way i am pleased to have car back.

What was the mileage when your gearbox failed? also what were the early symptoms if any? No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Hi mileage was 103450, and there were no symptoms when it happened.
