If I were you, I'd go for a post facelift Td6 - that's an 05 / 06 reg. I say this as I had one which I sold six months ago . . . . . . and I'm looking for another right now

Makes a lot of sense if you can live with the noise of the Td6 and drive it like a luxury barge, so don't yearn for the TDV8 performance. |

If you get a TD6 then have it remapped to make it nicer to drive Discovery 4 HSE

Go for a test drive first of a TD6 to see if you can live with it until you get it mapped though as they arent for everyone. specially if you want power!! Mines OK but im happy to admit its a slow beast compared to TDV8 and SDV6 engined vehicles. But it does its job and can still pull a fair old weight FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
