Rear tailgate lights

Off to the air show at Leuchars this weekend and judging by the weather it might be somewhat wet. Since we have base car park passes we might end up watching from the tail gate, so I wondered if there was a way to stop the light coming on so the battery doesn't go flat? I assume a fuse could be pulled, but I'm looking for a slightly easier option. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Just checked met office app on iPad. It says Leuchars will be sunny all day... I hope so, because I am having a BBQ! I can see the base from my house Very Happy Previously..

I will Stan, thanks. Just checked the interior light switches, but neither of these turn off the tailgate lights? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

On MY02 seems to be a longer delay on the boot lights than the other interior lights before they go off (noticed this when doing an interior clean the other day). Didn't count the minutes.... .
