Strange thing- I returned to my car the other night and unlocked it as normal. Got in and started it and the hazards started flashing! Never done that before. Anyone know what this is or is it just the elcetronics throwing a wobbly? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

This could be symptom of low battery voltage. If the battery is quite old it may be on the way out. Mine did this after I had left the keys in for an extended period whilst washing the car, I had drained the battery leaving all the car sytems live. 2018 Range Rover Autobiography

I have the hazards and also ceiling lamps on sometimes and after a while I discovered that re-closing the boot fixes it. |

I've had this aswell. No apparent reason why it occurs. As I turn the key, my hazards start flashing and the interior lights come on. The knock on (when I just turn the hazards and interior lights off and drive on my way) is that when I've got to where I'm going, the doors won't lock on the remote fob, so I just push the unlock button (eventhough doors are unlocked) and then click the lock button again and it goes back to normal again. I've probably had it around 10 times in the 2yrs I've owned the car. I've assumed it due to some sofware programming throwing a wobbler in one of the control modules in the car.
