Tow Assist sticker

I have a 2011 RR with the Tow Assist option - and am about to use that for the first time. When new, the dealer supplied me with the triangle sticker (with three black dots) to put onto the unit being towed, but I don't seem to have any instructions - I believe there are specific instructions on where to apply this.

Before I try to get this from the dealer, anyone on here know the instructions for doing this?

Let us know how you get on with it.

I got a shock at the size of the sticker so have not stuck it to the front of my caravan.

May try it on a removable board.

What's the point of it?

Surely, if you can't reverse a trailer you shouldn't be towing it in the first place?

So by your train of thourght why have a 4x4 and all the other electical aids that come with a FFRR?

If you can't drive without all that then you shouldn't be driving where you are in the conditions that warrent their use.

I'm not strongly disagreeing with you. The tow assist thing just seems to be a lot of faff to help with something anyone can do with a little practise.

After 40 years of towing I have no problem reversing I was just interested in how well it works.

I do know some people who never reverse their caravan using the mover if they have to reverse.
