Dead TFT Dashboard

Has anyone else suffered with an intermittently dead TFT display?

My 11,000 mile 60-plate 4.4TDV8 from time to time gives a completely dead display, occasionally it comes back after driving a few miles and sometimes after a few days.

A bit worrying as no idea of speed or fuel level while it is blank.

Literally just contacting the dealer now, but wondering if it was common, or if not common had anyone else ever heard of it?

The car went in to Lookers Park Royal this morning and it seems no such luck as loose connection or software update and so a whole new binnacle is going to have to come from Land Rover so it's back next week for them to take the car apart to replace it.

Since it went blank a couple of Sundays ago it has never come back to life, so luckily (!) it was dead when the dealer looked at it this morning.

Seems they have never come across this problem before, so its a journey of discovery for all of us.

Does the new model have this tft screen, if so then they better get used to fixing them!
