United Kingdom

the 2006MY onwards is a lot lot quieter than the 02 to 05MY due to better sound insulation and the laminated side windows, which at the time were marketed by LR as a significant noise reducer over previous models.

I also prefer the BM derived seats, and imho the 07 Ford spec seats was a backward step, but the dash / console is nicer in the 07 onwards.

Wales 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Zambezi Silver

I think you have answered your own question JP.

I have a 2003 TD6 which is mainly my weekend and "going out" drive. Compared to my everyday car it's comfortable and beautiful to drive in. Frankly I can't afford to get a much newer car so I am happy with what I have. I would love to have a TDV8 but I guess that wil be for the future. Meanwhile I have great pleasure with my old FF, also most people I know are always very complimentary about the car anyway.

I guess it's down to how much cash you are prepared to spend on your car. I am a firefighter (pay freeze for last 2 years) and I don't really have the spare cash to hand. (Any donations from rich members to my future upgrade fund gratefully accepted Laughing ) No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver

[]

Your right mate I have, after the cars ive driven for the last few years ( min 400bhp / straight through exhausts / coilover suspension ) this is full on luxury lol and to be honest I cant justify spending up to £20k for a very long time yet just to have a little more comfort, I would however be willing to spend up to 4k bringing it up to date in the future Smile
