My FF - The way i wanted it

Wow it took me a while to work out how to upload photos!!

Right here she is my new toy. Very breifly as i covered this in the welcome section. Came out of an M3 via a E60 M5 (only owned 6 months) and bough this big fella in May. Had major issue with dealer over history so wasnt sure i would keep it. When i bought it i knew exactly what i wanted to do. It had all kinds of stuck on chrome bits (bonnet vent, handles and scratch plates) which were just not me and i hated but i didnt dare remove until i got my issue sorted. As soon as it was i set about making the following subtle (well if you can call 22" wheels subtle Laughing ) changes. I removed all chrome tat bar the wing mirror covers which i have had off, unfortunately the full covers i bought to replace them dont cover the inside edge of the mirror which is smothered with resin so they have to stay for time being. I added black handles and got grill and side vents colour coded. Finally 22" original overfinch supersport fitted too. Brand new steering wheel just turned up but thats it for the modding. Not as economical as the mini though Whistle

Thanks for comment. Re Mini, its actually not that far behind. The mini is a cooper s and if you are enthusiastic it is early 20's Thumbs Up L405 4.4 SDV8 Santorini/Black VSE

Early 20's Shocked

40k which meant i got the full approved warranty rather than the select. First LR and having read about potential big bills just wanted this security at first just in case. Yours is a nice one btw and i also liked the 2012 stornaway conversion you did Thumbs Up L405 4.4 SDV8 Santorini/Black VSE

I like the colour coding, makes it look fresher without being facelifted. I wish Powerful would hurry up and get more handles/mirror covers in stock!

Thanks for kind comments. Ride is fine for me. I came out of m5 and m3 before that so used to firm. It does ride better on 19's no doubt but i love look of 22 and prepared to make a small sacrifice. L405 4.4 SDV8 Santorini/Black VSE
