2010 v pre 2010

I am still contemplating upgrading my Sport TDV8 to a Vogue TDV8 but which year?

Cost put to one side, is there a good reason why a 2010 is much better than a pre 2010?

Since you make a pre look like a 2010 model if you want I can't decide on looks alone.

is the handling much better, has anyone got experience of this.

once I decide which one still need to sell my Sport!

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

There are minor external cosmetic changes to the 2010MY:

new grille, bumper, side vents, front and rear LED lights, newer alloys

New functions include:

360 degree camera system (option)
dual view widescreen in front
revised dash layout and materials
Newer seat colour ways
recling rear seats

newer 5.0 V8 SC engine

They are gorgeous to own and drive. I did a review if you're interested:

You CAN make a pre 2010 MY look like a brand new one, even one of the earliest 2002 but this is a specialist conversion and will cost about 3600. Your insurance company will want to hear about it, IMO not worth the bother, save the money towards getting the latest model.

here's some posts about just that:

if you can afford it, go for it, if you want to save some money and wait till they're going cheaper 2nd hand you can get an amazing 2008 or 2009MY Vogue SE TDV8 with all the toys for much less. (under 45k) Discovery 4 HSE

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

We have on the driveway a 59 plate (3 weeks old) TDV8 and it is the muts nuts (compared to a 58 plate RRS TDV6 we chooped in for it). Very Happy

1,200 miles in three weeks says it all. Only showing 22mpg at the moment but I am ssured it has something to do with my foot Rolling Eyes

Miles better than RRS (I appreciate they are different cars) but just comfort, POWER and a bit of class.

For me the MY10 is the bees knees

Just my opinion of course. Currently running FFRR MY10 TDV8 3.6L and a Disco 3 XS Commercial (tank like but very effective as a Company van). Plus one mint condition Track Day Car in the form of an E36 M3 3.2L Evolution circa June 1996 with lots of go faster bits and only 52k miles on the clock! Oh, plus a few bits to make it slow down really quickly as well! Luvverly.
