Ive recently purchased my first RangeRover, its a 2002 Vogue 4.4V8. After the 57 previous cars ive had in the last 14 years mainly consisting of stupid bhp jap machines I am finally content ( although there isnt much left I havent had )
I joined up to another rangerover forum which was way too quite, ive only just found this and have found loads more valuable info already! I will be posting my problems shortly for all your expert advice

Ive kinda wanted one for ages and its the first car ever the wife has agreed on and actually asks to take out lol Although it has come with a fair few problems I need to sort but overall im very happy, just wished I had one last year instead of wasting so much money on the last two cars

Welcome Jay, nice motors, I bet the old cars were fun. Most of us have had the fast cars but driving the FF is also fun but in a different way, I'm sure you'll find that too. Current MY2020

Its a refreshing change to be honest its nice to just float in peace with the knowledge im not going to lose my licence every time I go out, I was surprised how bad the mpg is though, I obviously expected it to be bad and after the cars im used to its no big shock, but 13mpg round the village at 20-30mph is rather expensive

Being a petrol head I've been in a few nice cars, but not managed a Skyline yet. Would love a go in one.

Noisy smaller jap stuff used to chase me in the M5, and they are OK till the speed rises.........then I was normally gone.

I'm just "up the road" in Chesterfield.

Do you have Brembos on the Rangie, looking at your 3rd pic, are are they off something else ?

Hopefully LPG is on the cards, although im already getting the wallet bashed after about 5weeks

The skyline is one of my favourite all time cars and always will be, I have had 4 now and would have one tomorrow, the speed they can do for the cost is mad, my last r33 I managed 180mph ( on a private road of course ) on the other hand the evo was phenomenal acceleration with 0-60 in about 4 seconds!

I do have brembos mate, ive just mentioned them in another post of mine, not sure if theyre standard or an upgrade, I was hoping someone on here would know

Def not standard.

The Supercharged had them, and the TdV8's, but I'm not sure if its only certain model years........ 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

So youre suggesting somebody sourced a pair of huge brembo shaped calipers that fit straight onto a rangerover and then used a stencil to paint on the brembo???????
Or maybe theyre brembos from a s/c
